March 2, 2019

Dear Friends

Greetings once again in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and soon coming King.

Be encouraged brothers and sisters even with the signs of the Lord’s return being more abundant these days, rejoice.

1Co 16:13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

Isa 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

2Ti 3:12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

Phl 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Jhn 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Eph 4:14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

Do not focus on your problems, look to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

Isa 50:7 “For the Lord GOD will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced;
Therefore I have set My face like a flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed.

We have been very active since December, We attended a wedding were Don and I were asked to stand as Mother and Father of the Bride which was a privilege.

Mission of Love was held Christmas Day at New City Church. There were 30-40 in attendance and we had a  wonderful Christmas dinner thanks to  the cooks and all the volunteers. Those who attended were from the church and the community. To God be the Glory.

Don and I started up the Overcomers at the Salvation Army again on January 8, 2019, I was filling in until Robert got better.  By the grace of God and the assistance of others we moved Robert to a new place. He went back with Don to the Salvation Army Tuesday Feb. 26.

We have been about our Fathers work as it is written Mat 25:35,36-‘for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
25:36 ‘I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

Don and I have continued go to the prisons every other week and we had two more grads in February and will have four more this week. Praise the Lord.

Don and I  have been busy with hospital visitation for the last three months. Don for a while almost daily.

The Thursday night men’s Overcomes group is going well, they have some dedicated men going through the program.

A new women’s group should start sometime this month.

Movie night continues every other Friday night in the community room at the building we live at.

John is recovering from his shoulder surgery and will be coming into the prison this Monday. He has been missed by the guys. We now have 40 men between the two prisons taking the Overcomers.

The Lord has laid it strong on my heart to have a local residential home for women but that would have to be the Lord’s doing. We would need a place, the funds and the volunteers and all the furnishings.

Please pray into this with me. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt if it is the Lord it will come into being because it is written Luke 1:37 “For with God nothing will be impossible.”

That is it for now, we continue to pray for you all.

Thank you for your prayers and if you have any ideas or support in any area please let us know.

God bless you all.

See you here, there or in the air.
