New Brunswick June 2014

WOW what a trip!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!

We arrived at Fredericton airport and Olive picked us up. We all then went to Linda Lewis’s, Monty’s wife for a visit. It has been almost a year since Monty passed away. We shared lunch together and picked up some books for ministry.
We left and went to Olive’s, she told us about a good movie she saw and said we should see it. “GOD”S NOT DEAD”. We checked the theatre and it was the last night showing. We had a free movie pass so we went and saw it and I am glad we did. Thank you Lord and Olive.

The next day we went to meet some friends from Calais, Maine, Michael & Cathy, they met us in St. Stephen where we had lunch together. Cathy and I used to minister at Machias jail together sometimes. We brought some books from Ontario for her and some  from Lynda.

After lunch we, Don and I continued on to our good friends Bruce & Karen in Waweig were we had a wonderful time of fellowship and were we stayed until Monday. We went to church with them Sunday morning and evening. Pastor Jody at St. Croix Christian Centre asked us to speak on Sunday evening and it was Holy Spirit lead. We were blessed with a gift after. I just knew God had a plan and was providing for what He had for us to do.

When we arrived at Olive’s on Monday we got an e-mail from Sharon Burton founder of Overcomers. She sent me a copy of a request she got from Chaplain France Boucher, the chaplain at Madawaska Regional Correctional Centre up by Edmondston. Anyway, what are the chances we would be in New Brunswick at the time of this e-mail, I have never met or spoke to this chaplain or heard of her before. I gave her a call, one thing lead to another and she invited us up to speak to the men on Thursday June 5.
She called me back and said we needed a CPIC which I didn’t have. The chaplain in Ontario was off so I couldn’t get it from him and Brent Bishop told us it could take anywhere from one week to  two months to get one. We prayed then Olive made a call to RCMP and Don and I went to the office in Oromocto and got it in 15 minutes for free.   God’s Plan. Hallelujah!. This was Tuesday morning, then we had lunch with Brent and Al Ingram and his wife Juanita. Pray for Al, he was givien 6 months to live by his oncologist, that six months was up the end of May and he’s still here. So whos report are you going to believe. We shall believe the report of the Lord!!!

At lunch Brent said if you are going up there why don’t you stop at Naomi and Ruth Treatment Centre for women by Grand Falls, which again I have never heard of, so he arranged that.

Tuesday and Wednesday we attended Emmanuel Fellowship of which Don and I are ordained with. What a wonderful conference, great ministry, great speaker, great food and the Spirit of the Lord was there. I think this is the best conference I have attended.Thank you to all. See pictures below.

Thursday we went to the jail from 1:30 – 4 pm  and ministered to two groups of men, then continued on to Grand Falls where we stayed till after 9pm ministering to a dozen women. The Holy Spirit was all over us. We stayed at a hotel for the night and went back again the next day for another couple of hours. We went back down to Olive’s on Friday and spent the evening with her.  Praise the Lord.

On Saturday we went back to Brents and picked up some books for ministry here in Ontario. see pictures

Sunday morning when Don and I were doing devotions I prayed along with our normal prayers and devotions ” Thank you Lord for your favor that chaces us down and overtakes us.”  we attended Church in Fredericton with Olive,I don’t know the name of the church but I know the Pastor, she is a wonderful women of the Lord. Evangeline Inman.
What an awesome time of worship we had The Holy Spirit was present for sure. God answered that prayer after  service. I believe we were in worship for about an hour and a half, it was amazing and then the message and prayer and mor music. Wow! what a great day. I really needed that. As Pastor Evangine closed the service she introduced Don and I as missionaries. We said our good byes and left. We went out to the van, Don and Olive were in the van, I had one foot in and a man I don’t know came after us and put out his hand into mine and said God loves you missionaries and left. Don said what did he give you and it was two $100. dollar bills. Wow! prays the Lord. God is showing and reconfirming  that in spite of our few supporters and Don’s disability pension that whatever God has for us to do He will provide as always.

Olive, Don and I went out for lunch after then went back to her place. Olive’s mom passes away about 3 weeks ago so the day out was refreshing for her Thank you Jesus. We helped her with a few things on Monday and flew home Tuesday. Thank you Father in Jesus Precious Name and thank you Holy Spirit for going before and preparing the way. To God be all the Glory.

There was a lot more but you get the idea. Bless you all.
